Add to a group

Step by step: from adding the bot to your first protection setup

Add to group Commands

    Add the bot
    Open @DefensorGroupsBot → “Add to group”

    Make it an admin
    Enable: Ban users, Delete messages
  3. 3
    Activate the chat
    Send /help in the group — and it will appear in the bot's settings (/settings in a private chat with @DefensorGroupsBot). Without this step, the group won't be in the list.

    Open settings
    In a private chat with the bot, send /settings → select your group from the list → configure modules with buttons

    Enable protection
    Section “Protection” → enable AntiBot and PastedSpam with buttons — the basic minimum

    Assign moderators
    By reply: !повысить. Rank 5 👑 — group owner only

Bot permissions

Ban usersban, mute, kick, captcha
Delete messagesanti-spam, purge
Pin messages/pin

Important: without “Ban users”, ban and mute won't work
